Unless you’ve been living under some sort of giant rock for the past couple of months, you’ve probably seen at least a few people spinning these around in public and though – what is going on?

Well let us tell you.

Fidget spinners are one of the newest trends out there for children and adults alike.

What is their point exactly?

Well the short answer is truthfully, nothing. But the more nuanced answer is that they really do help with boredom, anxiety, staying awake, replacing bad habits, focusing, and honestly a whole host of other things that you wouldn’t expect from these little guys.

While there’s an almost infinite selection to choose from, which one is the best fidget spinner?

We’re here to help you decide! Since there are so many this is a long list.

We’ve included 23 of the top fidget spinners and hiding in there somewhere is the one that’s the best fidget spinner of 2020.

They come in all different designs and form factors but there’s one that will emerge as the winner. So whether you want a fidget spinner just to jump on the trend or it really does help you focus, check out our list of the 23 best fidget spinners on the market right now.

The 23 Best Fidget Spinners For 2020

Before we take a look at each individual fidget spinner, let’s get a quick overview of all the best fidget spinners.

Great! Now that you know what we’ll be looking at, let’s get into each individual fidget spinner.

LERMX Fingertip Gyro Hand Spinner – Elegant Design

First on our list is the Fingertip Gyron Hand Spinner for Lermx. We love the simple, elegant gold design of this fidget spinner and think it’s perfect for both adults and kids alike. The bearing is made in Japan and is superior to most.

The Lermx fidget spinner also comes in three different styles, depending on exactly what you’re looking for.

You can either purchase the arrow edge, the veins edge, or the smooth edge. This of course is simply referring to the finish around the outside of the spinner.

The edge is a nice brass metal that won’t scratch your fingers as you spin away for hours on end. It feels extremely comfortable and when used over time, will make your fingers super flexible.

This design is very unique when it comes to fidget spinners. Most aren’t a complete circle and look more similar to a triangle with three separate points. Since it’s a circle, it really opens up your options as to how you can use it. You can spin it agains your leg, a table, or any other surface to get it going really fast.

Because of the design, you’re able to really get this thing moving – more so than with more traditional designs.

The balance is perfect and it doesn’t slow down while you rotate which is all you can hope for from a fidget spinner. Lermx claims this is more of a 3-5 minute spinner as opposed to the traditional 1-3 minutes that the other classic shape provides.

That explains the slightly higher price tag. The price varies from $10.99 to $13.99, depending on which finish you choose for the brass edge. Overall a pretty good first contender from Lermx.

ATOMIX Mini Fidget Hand Spinner – Traditional Design

The next fidget spinner to make it onto our list is from Atomix. Atomix provides us with a bit more of the traditional design that existed when fidget spinners first came out. It features a nice gold, matte finish made out of a drop resistant material.

The bearing in the middle is made out of stainless steel and feels heavy duty in your hands.

This one in particular is also great for kids, or just people with smaller hands as it’s a little bit smaller than traditional fidget spinners.

Atomix also offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee so they’ll allow you to return it if you’re not happy with it for any reason whatsoever. So you truly have nothing to lose.

Furthermore, this fidget spinner in particular has nice heft to it and a great spin time.

Usually with this shape you can get anywhere from 1-3 minutes of spin time and you should be able to consistently get much closer to a 3 minute spin time with this one. One thing that we should note is that it’s not 100% silent.

It definitely does make a tiny bit of noise, especially when compared to other fidget spinners. So if you’ll be using this in an office environment or at school where silence is mandatory. It’s not loud per se, but it’s not quite silent either so just something to keep in mind.

What We Loved

  • Traditional design
  • Beautiful gold finish

What We Didn’t Like

  • Not completely silent

YGJ Spinner – A Bunch of Different Styles

This beautiful spinner comes exclusively in this stunning rainbow color. The main draw to this spinner is all the different styles it comes in! They all come in the metallic rainbow but you’re able to get it in: hook, octopus, rainbow big circle, rainbow clover, tetris, and hexagram – just to name a few.

So there will a shape that everybody finds appealing and that works for the size of their hands. Or if you’re just looking for a new challenge – check out one of the crazier shapes!

Be sure to check out the video below, which showcases a spinner from the same company. It shares many of the characteristics that this spinner has.

The YGJ Spinner boasts a pretty long spin time as well. On average, you can get this to spin for 3-7 minutes in one run.

The bearing is of particularly high quality but just make sure that you’re cleaning it regularly. If not, dust can collect (even if you can’t see it) and can end up affecting the speed and duration of your spin.

This is also a bit heavier than traditional spinners of this shape which is actually a good thing as it gives it a bit more balance to it. Even a few tenths of an ounce make all the difference when trying to balance it on your finger.

All in all a beautiful spinner that we think you’ll be pleased with.

What We Loved

  • Looks very cool while spinning
  • Super long spin time

What We Didn’t Like

  • Dust collects in bearing easily

Gorilla Spinners – One of the Originals

The Gorilla Spinners are up next! This is one of the more popular brands of fidget spinners and one of the original ones that first started making them. This is about as classic of a design as you can get. It comes in four different colors: pink, blue, gold, and white.

The bearing is of superior quality and they actually guarantee a minimum of 80 seconds of spin time!

That’s something that you won’t find with any other manufacturer. It also comes with two caps so you can make sure it stays stationary when you’re not using it.

Gorilla Spinners really believes in their product and they back every purchase with a 30 day money back guarantee. No questions asked.

So if it doesn’t live up to your expectations or you just don’t love it, send it back for a full refund for any reason.

If you’ve never used a fidget spinner before and are looking for a good entry level spinner that makes it easy for anyone to spin, this is probably the one for you.

No extra frills, just a quality fidget spinner that will help you relax, focus, and relieve you of some of your anxiety. You can’t be disappointed with this OG fidget spinner.

What We Loved

  • One of the first companies to make fidget spinners
  • 30 day money back guarantee

What We Didn’t Like

  • Only comes as a tri-spinner

Aweoods 2017 – Cool UFO Design

We absolutely love this ‘UFO’ design from Aweoods. It’s unique and really sets itself apart from a lot of the other fidget spinners on the market.

This was made with laser industrial molding technology and aluminum materials that creates a pure, bold, and beautiful finish on this spinner.

It also has a much higher hardness than a lot of other spinners and is also shockproof. Meaning if you drop it while you’re first learning to spin, no need to worry.

This little guy is durable and you’ll be able to pick it up and jump right back into spinning. Because of its design, it’s also borderline silent making it ideal for office or school environments where silence is mandatory.

It’s the perfect size as well making it super easy to just throw it in your pocket and you’ll forget that it’s even in there.

This one is slightly above average and averages about 3-5 minutes per spin – not too bad. This of course will depend on exactly how much power you’re using to propel it and also your skill level.

As with most bearings (the piece in the middle of the spinner), make sure you don’t forget to clean it regularly to prevent dust from building up.

If you start to notice that it’s harder to spin or you’re not able to spin it for as long as usual, there’s a possibility that dust has built up on the bearing.

When you do clean it as well, make sure you’re using rubbing alcohol and not water. All in all a solid fidget spinner from Aweoods with a sick design that’s sure to make everyone around you jealous.

What We Loved

  • Fund design
  • Above average spin time

What We Didn’t Like

  • Bearing collects dust easily

Neatmaster Brass Hand Fidget Spinner – High-End Quality

A little bit of a spoiler alert, this is definitely one of our top contenders for the best fidget spinner. We absolutely love the Neatmaster Brass Hand Fidget Spinner. This is casted from brass resulting in an amazing finish that’s of extremely high quality.

We also love the design. It’s similar to the traditional design with just enough of a twist to make it look elegant and really stand out. It’s balanced and this one is truly silent.

The center cap is also concave making it balance very easily on your finger. Also because of the high quality bearing, it will barely slow down while you’re doing tricks. Neatmaster produces truly high quality spinners and you will notice a difference when using this versus other products.

Of course with high quality comes a bit of a higher price. This will run you about $21. All in all though, not a bad price.

Overall a very solid spinner. The outside is oxidized as to prevent any tarnish. This is also one of the most balanced spinners on the market.

Because of the high quality you don’t have to worry about this breaking either if you do happen to drop it. And because of the finish, it won’t leave so much as a tiny mark on the outside.

If you don’t mind spending a bit more money, then this spinner is definitely for you.

What We Loved

  • Barely slows down while doing tricks
  • One of the most balanced spinners

What We Didn’t Like

  • Slightly expensive

iGearPro Best Metal Fidget Spinner – Extremely Sturdy

Another pricier fidget spinner but also very high quality fidget spinner. It’s discrete, fun, and super simple to carry. The bearing uses the latest low-friction technology to ensure longevity and smooth rotation. It averages 1-3 minute spins and if you’re able to get it going really fast, you can get up to 3-4 minute spans.

This is of course based on how much power you’re able to give it. It’s not completely silent but it is pretty quiet and will work in most situations.

This is also great because you never need any repair oil or maintenance. As we mentioned previously, this is perfect for helping with your anxiety, focusing, quitting bad habits, staying awake, and also effective for focus and deep thought. iGearPro, like most of the other fidget spinner companies out there.

If you don’t love it for any reason, it’s super easy to get in contact with the company and either get your money back or get a new unit.

One thing that’s important to note is that you absolutely shouldn’t use water to wash the bearing. If you do, the water can possibly cause the bearing to have resistance ultimately affecting speed and longevity. You’ll absolutely love this futuristic heavy-duty spinner from iGearPro.

What We Loved

  • Very durable
  • Low-friction technology with bearing

What We Didn’t Like

  • One of the pricier spinners

Sofer Fidget Spinner – Sturdy With 12 Month Warranty

Sofer brings back a design that we really enjoy. It’s called a bunch of different things by almost every single company but the most common is the “UFO design”. Because of the added components to this spinner, it is a bit heavier than most at a little over 6 ounces. But in the grand scheme of things, it’s still very lightweight and simple looking.

It’s made from strong Zinc Alloy material with high quality bearings. Overall, you’ll get an average spin of about 2 minutes. This is easy to carry, discrete, quiet, and perfect to use anywhere in just about any situation.

You don’t have to worry about the bearing or anything else on this fidget spinner breaking either. This product is backed by a 12 month warranty and Sofer offers exceptional customer service. So any issues whatsoever, just contact them and your problem will be rectified in no time.

While it is heavier than a lot of other spinners, it actually feels a bit smaller than a lot of other spinners. So the weight is just more concentrated. It’s still perfectly balanced however and it’s super easy to spin on one finger.

This is a great option if you love the UFO design. Just note however, it is quiet but it is not silent so keep that in mind depending on which environment you’ll primarily be using this in.

What We Loved

  • Great warranty
  • Good spin time

What We Didn’t Like

  • Not completely silent

EZOON Tri Fidget Spinner – Unique Design

If you’re looking for a unique design that nobody else will have then look no further. EZOON produces a fidget spinner that’s not only has a unique shape but has a fun design.

And if you like the design, they make the same one in almost ten different primary colors so no matter what your favorite color is, you’ll be able to find one that you’ll love. You get a pretty good average spin time on this spinner. You can easily expect anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes.

It features an all metal design made out of aluminum making it stronger and more durable than ever. It’s super easy to pack and even comes with a little carrying bag, how cute! It’s perfectly balanced for you to enjoy the maximum spin time that you can possibly enjoy.

This feels super heavy duty and is comparable to any $50 spinner out on the market. Easily. While it does feel heavy duty and have a good spin time, this is possibly one of the louder fidget spinners you can buy. If you’re not going to be using it in an environment where that matters, then you’ll be fine.

But it’s definitely something to be aware of.

Although to make up for it, it does come with a carrying case that will help to protect the spinner over the long run, possibly saving you from having to have to buy another one. The design alone makes us fall in love.

Give the EZOON Tri Fidget Spinner a try, we think you’ll be glad you did.

What We Loved

  • Unique design
  • Comes with carrying case

What We Didn’t Like

  • Kind of loud

Nomad features a premium precision design and each unit is meticulously crafted to guarantee you the highest quality. Every single time.

Just toss it in your bag and forget about it. You can get it in sleek black or a metallic rainbow with a few other options in between. You can tell by the way it looks and feels that this is a high-end fidget spinner and the price reflects that – it’ll run you about $38.

Balai Fidget Toy Hand Spinner – Great Budget Option

This is the perfect budget option if you’re not sure if you’re even going to like fidget spinners or if you honestly just don’t feel like spending a ton of money on one. While it is on the cheaper end, the bearing in the middle is still pretty high quality and you can get an average of 1-3 minutes on each spin.

Not the highest compared to some others, but it’s at least on par with the average time. These are great because they offer a wide range of designs that you won’t find with many other brands.

Pictured is the American flag variation but it also comes in multiple rainbow variations and even a Batman version.

This is also surprisingly quiet for the price. The center is made from ceramic and was put together with laser industrial molding technology so it will last you for years to come.

If you’re purchasing this for a younger kid, it might be the perfect fit as it comes in a bunch of fun colors and designs and they aren’t that expensive.

So if they do happen to break it, nothing loss nothing gained. Maybe buy a few in some different colors so that the wear and tear will be spread over a few different products.

Either way, this is a decent budget option for a fidget spinner and you really can’t go wrong with spending $3.

What We Loved

  • Extremely cheap
  • Lots of different designs to choose from

What We Didn’t Like

  • Easily breaks if drops

Mermaker Fidget Spinner – Elegant With Long Spin Time

We fell in love with the Mermaker fidget spinner upon first glance. It has an extremely high-end design with a beautiful rainbow finish that’s both elegant and fun to look at while it spins.

This is definitely a larger spinner so it’s more suitable for adults or children over 12. Or if your young child has larger hands, then this could also be great for them.

The rotation is very fast and it feels very good in your hands. You get an average of about 2.5 minutes for each spin. It’s super user friendly and requires absolutely no repair, no oil, and no maintenance. It’s good to go straight out of the box.

Because of the weight, you are automatically going to get a smoother and more consistent spin that’s looks extremely clean. Because of the finish however, you do get some fingerprints on it over a few days if you’re not careful.

Easy fix however – just give it a quick wipe with whatever cloth you would use to clean your sunglasses and voila! It’ll look brand new in just a couple minutes.

For $10, this easily feels like a $50 spinner and is going to be a top contender for best fidget spinner. Mermaker truly knocked it out of the park with this one.

This one is the perfect size for both kids and adults alike. It feels smooth and easily slips right into your pocket. Zekpro is among the companies that offer you a money back guarantee if you don’t absolutely love it.

That combined with the price makes it the perfect intro fidget spinner if you’re not entirely sure if you’re in love with the idea yet.

Because of the ultra smooth finish, this fidget spinner is extremely quiet and you won’t be able to hear it whatsoever.

Perfect to use while you’re watching TV if you normally are fidgeting your leg. It’ll keep you still and silent and keep everyone around you much happier.

This is also perfect for kids because it’s particularly resilient. So if you drop it a few times while you’re learning, it’ll still be fully in tact. Zekpro puts out a nice starter fidget spinner that is in the intersection of being good for kids and adults alike.

You’ll be happy that you went with Zekpro.

Balai Fidget Spinner Toy Glowing – Glows in the Dark

We’re surprised that there aren’t more glow-in-the-dark fidget spinners out on the market! It might be hard to initially learn on, but this is a great second or third spinner once you have the technique down.

This looks much more impressive in the dark. This glowing fidget spinner by Balai is easy to carry, small, simple, and best of all – quiet.

The spin time is pretty average with this one and clocks in at around 1-3 minutes.

Overall, not bad though. It has a high-quality ceramic center bearing that will last for years to come. And if you want maximum glowing quality, it’ll work best if you charge it under a lamp for a little bit first.

The video below showcases the glow in the dark effect. Make sure you check it out if you decide to go with this amazing fidget spinner.

All in all, this definitely isn’t the highest quality product on the market but it does have two things doing for it.

First – it costs under $3. So even if this only lasts you a year, really not too bad considering it was only a few bucks.

And secondly – it glows in the dark!

Not many manufacturers produce fidget spinners that glow in the dark so we were happy to come across this spinner from Balai.

Copro Fidget Spinner – Bang For Your Buck

It really does feel that smooth.

The gold design also really elevates the feel. It comes with a 7 day warranty from the manufacturer – not the best in the world but at least it’s something.

This is a beautiful design that will truly help you if you’re trying to kick a bad habit or focus your thoughts on something else.

The design is ergonomic so it’s feels extremely comfortable in your hands and is suitable for long term usage. It’s easy to be spinning this for 4 hours without even realizing it!

In order to make it even more durable, they’ve applied an anti-oxidation treatment that not only will prevent scratches and scuffs but will ultimately extend the life of the product.

If you notice that your speed has slowed down or spin time has decreased significantly, you can just add a tiny drop of lubricating oil and it’ll be back to feeling brand new.

The bearing type is 608 RS which is of extremely high quality. The whole spinner is made exclusively of metal and aluminum and actually feels very luxurious.

Atesson Fidget Spinner – Comes With Leather Case

You will be thoroughly impressed straight out of the box – this fidget spinner arrives and looks just as beautiful in person as it does in the photo.

As an added bonus, it even comes with a semi-hard leather case and also a mini screwdriver to help you adjust the fidget spinner.

Both of these tools will ultimately extend the life of your spinner dramatically.

It’s well-balanced and a great weight and once you get a few hours of practice on the books, you can get this to spin easily for 8+ minutes – if you’re good and use a lot of power. Still, it is definitely possible.

This Atesson fidget spinner is also extremely quiet. It’s not quite quiet enough to be able to use the word silent, but it is very very close. Plus it creates a beautiful rainbow as you spin it. So it’s definitely not the most discrete fidget spinner but it is very impressive looking and flash.

It just depends on exactly what you’ll be using this for and what you want exactly from a fidget spinner. Overall this is a high quality spinner from Atesson. You’ll get a lot of hours with this little guy and it does not disappoint. If you go with this, you will definitely be glad you did.

Mmrm Light Fidget Hand – Perfect For Beginners

This fidget spinner is perfect for younger kids or beginners. It is extremely light and therefore super easy to get spinning. It is made of plastic so it doesn’t have that high-quality feeling as a lot of the metal ones but hey, for $3.50, who can complain.

While it might not feel high-quality, it certainly looks it!

The finish is sleek and it actually looks pretty cool while it’s spinning.

It features a Core 608 Hybrid ceramic bearing that will give you incredibly long, frictionless spins. However since it is plastic, it’s also not as silent as some of its metal counterparts.

You will hear a bit of a squeaking noise, although nothing too intrusive. With that being said, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for a quiet office or school setting.

All in all, Mmrm was able to produce a fidget spinner and sell it for an insanely low cost. If you’re looking to improve your spin time or speed and have been doing this for a few months now, this may not be for you.

If you’re looking to get your feet wet or just want an extra one for around the house, or maybe it’s for your kid and they’re not the most careful – go with this one.

It’s light so it’s easy for everyone to use and it’s also only $3.50. You seriously just cannot go wrong.

Fidgiteer Fidget Spinner – Heavy Duty

If you’re looking for a heavy duty fidget spinner that has some serious girth and weight to it, Fidgiteer made the spinner for you. They really stand behind their product and even offer a one year warranty. That’s pretty good for an $11 toy.

This is finely balanced and features a concave center cap which makes it even easier to balance on only one finger.

This can easily spin for 2 minutes without putting forth much effort and with a really hard spin, this will easily spin for much longer. It also will barely slow down while you’re doing tricks, making it easier to learn them.

Also good to know if you’re purchasing this for your kids – this Fidgiteer is both BPA and PFOA free so you won’t have to worry about any chemicals.

There are no hazardous loose bearings and no cracked frames so you know the quality is real.

As an added bonus, it even comes with a matching pouch to store your spinner! This will keep it even more protected and allow you to use it for years without having to perform any maintenance or ever have to purchase another one.

Because of the weight, this is also suitable for adults and will feel very sturdy in your hands. Overall this is definitely one of the sturdier, more versatile fidget spinners on the market.

You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Phoenix Fidgets Tri Metal Spinner – Luxury Fidget Spinner

We’ve decided to include another high-end fidget spinner – a luxury fidget spinner if you will. Phoenix definitely delivers in that category. It comes in this sleek black pictured along with gold, silver, and rose gold. With the increased quality, you get increased spin time.

You will easily see 3-6 minute spin time without much practice needed.

The specially designed R188 center bearing delivers insanely fast spins and really helps you to relieve stress.

Plus with longer spin times, it helps you focus even more on the task at hand as you’re not worried about the spin cycle stopping. It is a bit pricey ($37) but it comes with two key features.

First, it comes with a five year warranty. We think that’s pretty decent for a fidget spinner. So if for any reason the bearing isn’t up to par within five years, Phoenix will replace this no questions asked. They also provide you with a tin carrying case to protect it, ensuring minimal damage will occur so hopefully you won’t have a need to capitalize on your warranty.

With the high-end spinners, you’ll notice that they are virtually silent. So they’re perfect for office environments, class, or if you’re just bored in church honestly.

If you’ve had some of the cheaper fidget spinners and are ready to commit to one of the best on the market, then make the switch over to Phoenix. You will be glad you did.

What We Loved

  • Feels luxurious
  • Completely silent

What We Didn’t Like

  • A little pricey

EWR Original 360 Spinner – One of the Originals

EWR is one of the original makers of the fidget spinner and they have the design pretty much perfected at this point. They use only the best R188 bearings with 3 additional black outer bearings, allowing you to really come up with some neat tricks.

Also another feature you find with the high end fidget spinners, is the concave cap! This makes it way way easier to spin on one finger. In fact, it’s almost impossible without it.

The frame itself is extremely durable and can withstand a pretty good beating without falling apart. You also get complete silence with these more expensive fidget spinners and the one by EWR is no exception.

Of course with all those features, you also are going to get a much longer spin time and with minimal effort, you can easily get about 4 minutes with this EWR fidget spinner.

Not to shabby.

While this is definitely not a $40 fidget spinner, it does feel a bit like one.

It’s $13 but it definitely has more qualities of a high-end fidget spinner than you would expect. If you’re not quite ready to commit to the hobby at $40 but also don’t want one of the cheaper ones at $3.50, we think this is the perfect compromise.

TYZEST Spinner Fidget – Amazing Spin Time

So if you’re more advanced or after a little bit of practice, you’ll be beating that before you know it. This is made very nicely out of 100% red copper material and it feels very smooth and balanced when you use it.

It either comes in this sleek gold color or if you’re looking for something a bit more flashy, you can also get it in a rainbow finish for a few dollars more.

If you want it to spin even longer than the average, if you give the bearing a good cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, it’ll remove all of the dust particles that could’ve been potentially slowing it down.

If you really get this going, you can easily have it spinning for 9, 10, or even 11 minutes.

The bearing is one of the highest quality used on the market. It is genuine and you can feel it straight out of the box. This is definitely another top contender for best fidget spinner.

VICTOREM EDC Hand Spinner – Luxurious and Sturdy

This is one heavy duty spinner. It not just looks luxurious, but this iteration of VICTOREM’s hand spinner is stronger and more durable than ever. It is a bit heavier and wider in diameter than a lot of other spinners out there so it is recommended for adults or kids over 10 years old. Or if you have a younger kid who’s become a bit of a pro at this or has larger hands, this could also work for them.

The body is made out of a premium quality metal that has a higher hardness than most and is completely shockproof. And to prove it, VICTOREM includes a 1 year warranty on any of the parts and a 30 day money back guarantee – so you know they truly believe in and stand behind their product.

There are no sharp edges to be found on this spinner which makes it super easy to spin. Right out of the box, you can easily get a 4 minute spin without any trouble whatsoever. However, if you take the time to clean it, you can easily get yourself a 9 minute spin if you spin it hard enough.

Really the only sort of downside to this spinner is the weight, but if you prefer a heavier spinner or are expecting it then it shouldn’t be a problem whatsoever. This VICTOREM fidget spinner is the perfect compromise between a cheap spinner and expensive one at $16. We love this fidget spinner.

What We Loved

  • Beautiful design
No sharp edges, esay to spin

Maxboost Tri-Spinner – Goes Extremely Fast

Alright, the last fidget spinner on our list comes from Maxboost. This is a high quality spinner at an amazing price – only $13! It’s ergonomically designed so it fits very comfortably in your hand and allows you to spin for hours without any sort of pain or discomfort. The bearing in the middle is ceramic, providing you with an ultra smooth spin.

It’s smaller than most and fits perfectly in your palm so you can easily transport it from place to place or slip it in your pocket and you won’t even notice it’s there. Also this Maxboost Tri-Spinner even comes with a guaranteed one year warranty from the manufacturer to protect against defects.

The bearings are designed for maximum speed and Maxboost absolutely lives up to its name. This little guy can get going pretty fast. Straight out of the box, you can easily get a 4 minute spin time but with a little practice and using rubbing alcohol to clean the bearings, you should be able to get this to the 7 or even 8 minute mark. Easily.

One thing to caution against is that this spinner is indeed made of plastic so it’s not going to be quite as durable as some of the metal ones out there. So while you’re learning, you might want to practice over a soft surface because if you drop it enough, you will start to see cracks.

Also since it is plastic, it won’t be 100% absolutely silent. If you don’t need absolute silence and don’t plan on dropping it however, you should be good. This is a high quality spinner for the price that gets going really fast. Maxboost definitely delivers with their version of the tri-spinner.

Fidget Spinner Buyer’s Guide

You might think that with such a silly toy, you don’t need a buyer’s guide right? Well consider again. It is a small toy without many components but there are still quite a few factors that you’ll want to consider, depending on exactly what your use will be. Some of these factors won’t apply to you if you aren’t in an office, or if you’re not planning on taking it too seriously.

Either way, check out our buyer’s guide to make sure you’re not missing anything when you purchase it. Whether it’s your first or tenth purchase, take a read. You can never be too safe.

This is an easy one. Which material is going to be best for you? Plastic is definitely a bit lighter and they tend to be much cheaper than the all metal ones so it makes them the best for learning on. However the danger with plastic is that it can start to crack if you drop it too many times.

Plastic fidget spinners also tend to have a bit of noise to them. All metal spinners tend to be much more expensive but they’re generally silent and more resistant to wear and tear.

Some fidget spinners are definitely much noisier than others. If you’ll just be using this casually while you’re out and about or while you’re by yourself doing work, a little bit of a buzzing sound shouldn’t be that big of a deal. If, however, you plan to use this in an office environment or at school where you should really be pretty close to silent, you’ll want to make sure that the spinner you’re getting is silent.

The cheaper, plastic ones tend to produce a bit of noise while the higher-end all metal spinnres are virtually silent.

Fidget spinners come in all different shapes and sizes. The traditional shape is the three point tri-spinner and is probably the best one to learn on.

However if you’ve been using that one and have grown tired of it, consider getting a new shape. They have circular ones, ones that look like a bar, ones that look like a UFO, ones that look like an octopus – the list truly goes on. If you’re building a bit of a collection, do some digging to find some unique shapes that maybe nobody else has.

This may sound obvious. Yeah, just pick whatever color is my favorite. But you’ll want to take color into consideration for the same reason you’ll need to take noise into consideration.

If you’re going to be using this in the office or if your kid is going to be using it at school, you won’t want them having a rainbow colored fidget spinner or some other crazy pattern.

You may want to opt for a black or other neutral color. If however your aim is to impress and maybe make some cool videos, there are plenty of crazy patterns and colors out there that you can try.
